Evaluating Program Effectiveness
Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), state performance on indicators and other measures of effectiveness plays a vital role in setting performance targets and developing quality programming. WIOA requires states to evaluate local programs and includes sanctioning provisions for low performing states. This training guided states through the process of developing a systematic approach to evaluating local program effectiveness using NRS data, including WIOA performance indicators.
