Evaluating Program Effectiveness

Evaluating Program Effectiveness

NRS Training:
2018

Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), state performance on indicators and other measures of effectiveness plays a vital role in setting performance targets and developing quality programming. WIOA requires states to evaluate local programs and includes sanctioning provisions for low performing states. This training guided states through the process of developing a systematic approach to evaluating local program effectiveness using NRS data, including WIOA performance indicators.

Extremely empathetic and compassionate about their work; thank you so very much!!”

“Great training! I appreciate going through each section of the logic model. This tool proved extremely useful in narrowing our focus on a priority issue and identifying solutions and thinking about how we want to assess our success or even failures and work from there.”

“[It] was a real enrichment experience to make us rethink and review our visions planning; also, the opportunity to help us focus on information delivery to stakeholders was a great opportunity to educate our evaluation approach.”
