Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), adult education programs must collect and report data on measurable skill gains (MSG). Although there are many factors that come into play when working to improve an adult education program’s MSG outcome, one aspect to review carefully is the program’s pre-/posttesting rate. In this webinar, state staff from Maine and Rhode Island shared successful strategies they have used to increase these rates to ensure that they are tracking students’ progress accurately.
