This virtual workshop examined how co-enrollment provides a coordinated approach to integrating basic skills development with occupational training and workforce preparation. States explored ways to use data to incorporate both industry needs and adult learners’ needs into program and pathway design; reviewed co-enrollment models, including successful state examples that offer practical approaches for strengthening their own programs; and shared ideas with peers to gather feedback on how to integrate co-enrollment into existing initiatives.
