About the NRS Online Courses

The NRS support project developed nine (9) online courses for adult education practitioners to learn about NRS and WIOA requirements and strategies to improve NRS data quality and use. Since it is not always possible to attend training in person, these courses are designed to offer flexibility and convenience.  NRS  online courses are offered through the Moodle learning management platform.  Please find links to the left to either (a) create a new log-in to access the courses for the first time, or to (b) enter your established log-in information so you can continue working on a course you have started or continue to take other courses within the course catalog.  To the right, find guidance for professional development staff to assist practitioners in the best use of the online courses.

Facilitated Online and Blended Courses

Facilitated online courses are offered each year through the NRS support project for state teams and individuals. These courses are multi-week asynchronous courses guided by NRS project staff and other experts. State directors must nominate and approve staff to participate in these facilitated and project-based learning experiences.

Blended training includes both an online component and face-to-face events with other practitioners. The online portion of these trainings are asynchronous, allowing individuals and teams to participate at their own pace. State teams must apply to participate in these trainings. State teams are always selected and approved by the state director.
