Regional advisors continually monitor program performance using a customized Access database.
The MIS/Tech Support State Leadership Project provides monthly data check reports to programs so they can monitor the completeness and accuracy of their data entry.
Pennsylvania’s eData v2 system and its associated Access database allow programs to view and utilize their data. Using the database, programs can examine data using built-in or customized reports. Some of the built-in reports mimic the federal reporting tables which allow data to be examined at the program, class, or teacher level.
Regional advisors provide technical assistance to programs on a regular basis to discuss current program data. Advisors also have bi-annual phone calls with each program to discuss multi-year data trends using an agency performance template.
Programs are required to submit an annual data validation sheet to ensure that they have examined their data and certify that it is accurately reported.
