Data Tools for Monitoring and Program Improvement:

State staff analyzes the data for anomalies and the data system has numerous cross checks and blocks that prevent data errors and NRS violations. i.e. hours between assessments, duplication of students, age, ethnicity and other missing data elements.

NRS approved assessments are the only ones allowed to be chosen in the data base for tracking MSG. The system assigns the Educational Functioning Level based upon the scale score entered based upon the Test Benchmark chart approved for use.

Numerous reports are built into the Louisiana WorkReady U! Student information System to guide the programs and to help identify areas of program performance that are working well and areas needing improvement.
