Data Tools for Monitoring and Program Improvement:

KYSU is in regular contact with local providers through designated regional staff: e-mail updates; telephone calls; regional meetings; hard copy mailings; electronic newsletter; on-site visits; updates to KAERS system documentation; state implementation guidelines manual updates; and posting on the Kentucky Skills U (KYSU) Web sites.

KYSU’s Kentucky Adult Education Reporting System (KAERS) is a web-based system that provides a variety of reports that local providers may generate at any time from "live" data, as well as ability to print trend data reports, charts and graphs. Most reports contain optional selection criteria to customize the report for individual program needs, such as by instructor or by student goal(s). This tool includes a dashboard to monitor key performance indicators. This dashboard provides a visual of real-time data to help monitor and analyze progress of meeting state goals.
