Data Tools for Monitoring and Program Improvement
  • KYAE is in regular contact with local programs through designated regional staff: e-mail updates and instructions; telephone calls; regional meetings; hard copy mailings; electronic newsletter; on-site visits; updates to MIS system documentation; policy and procedure manual updates; and posting on the KYAE, KYVAE and AERIN Web sites.
  • KYAE's MIS is a Web-based system that provides a variety of reports that local programs may generate at any time from "live" data, as well as ability to print trend data reports, charts and graphs. Most reports contain optional selection criteria that may be used to customize the report for individual program needs, such as by instructor or by goal. The performance report contains the programs' NRS goals, number meeting each goal and percentage of goal attainment. It is used to monitor overall program performance and goal attainment. The student roster report lists student names, enrollment status and entry level.
